The LK Singhania Education Centre at Gotan came into existence as a full-fledged, premier residential school in July 1987 as a realization of the values and dreams of the good visionary, Late Lala Kamlapat Singhania. The school is Senior Secondary, co-educational English medium affiliated to the Central Board of education, New Delhi. Accommodating 1650 students including 950 boarders from all parts of the country and internationally as well, the LK Singhania Education Centre is a unique mix of the traditional and modern. This centre is a multicultural, co-educational boarding school where traditions, religions and beliefs from all walks of life are respected and celebrated. The aim is to nurture each child individually to help them become global citizens. Although the school was initiated in 1984 with the aim to provide education to the children of JK White Cement employees only, with the great social commitment of the JK organization, it meant that the school should be expanded to provide quality education to the children of one and all with the non-profit motive.
I welcome all of you to this session! Our commitment has always been and will always be to provide a healthy and intellectually stimulating atmosphere in which students feel motivated in the twenty-first century, academically, creatively and rationally.
I believe that we are working together successfully in this unforgettable journey of learning and development to help them reach higher and aspire for more. In order to have expertise in different topics, our approach has always been an integrated one. The key aim is to learn by doing more because the future seems to be all set to build on artificial intelligence trends. Today, their motivation and desire should be described as a movement for the unexplored field of education. We keep these thoughts and values with pride and help them commit to preserving our school's extraordinary record of accomplishments as a legacy. Challenges, trust, multitasking, and time valuation are some of the important aspects of experiential learning that we try to provide them with the fact that it is necessary to offer room for any unpredictability of randomness to be redressed.
Our aim is to promote the growth of life that has a sense of belonging; a "go ahead and try it" spirit; the capacity to articulate a whole range of phrases, ask questions , explore possibilities; and apply skills to find solutions to problems. We ensure their commitment to the nation as well as help them stay grounded in a collaborative and respectful way, in addition to fostering exposure and extending various opportunities to students in their field of interest.
I believe in tapping the resourcefulness of students to put to the fore their promising talents. So, my talent focuses on the need for learners and employees to grow; the need for expression; and the need to make an informed decision, and that's what I'm doing, while being consistent with the priorities and objectives set in the school's vision.
