The ambience and the pristine surroundings of this place are conducive for learning and a healthy stay. In the present age of increasing materialism and eroding human values, it is imperative that the future generations are brought up in such a way that when the time comes for them to shoulder big responsibilities, they are not found wanting. They should be intellectually sound, physically strong, emotionally stable and morally upright. It is our endeavour at Don Bosco Public School, Dogaon, Nainital to help our students to inculcate these qualities, keeping the needs and demands of the future in mind, we try to prepare our students in the best possible manner.

I am confident that the school will continue to remain abreast of the changing scenarios in the field of education and will incorporate all necessary measures to keep up with the changing times.

In 2001 I had taken over Don Bosco Public School, a co-education residential school from Mr. Mathew Don Bosco. It had only 65 students. Me and my team, the Principal Mrs. L.Solomon and hard working devoted teachers worked day and night to bring up this school and today we have a strength of 300 students.

I always had a vision to have a separate girls college and it has come true when last year (2010) the girls were shifted to Aam Parao Don Bosco Girls College. It is also affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Now Don Bosco Public School, Dogaon is only for boys. It has classes II to XII. The school presents a happy blend of Indian Culture.

My belief is if one wants to succeed in life one must work hard.
